Glance at the Past
I've had the pleasure of raising and breeding some wonderful dogs over the
past 30 years, and here we give a little room to those "golden-oldies."

During his brief show career, Pilot took several sporting group
placements, Best Stud Dog and a Best In Specialty Show. He
leaves behind a great legacy of show champion offspring (12
to date with more needing just a few points to finish), group
winners, obedience contenders and great family companions.

Encore has left me with a deep hole in my heart that will not be
replaced. She was a once-in-a-lifetime friend.
Storm, an import from the Of Morning Valley Kennels in the Netherlands,
came to live with us in March 07 when his co-owner and dear friend
Selina Marx (River Watch Goldens, SC) died of cancer in Feb 07. Then
suddenly Storm died in June 07 - we let him out one evening and a few
minutes later he was gone. He died from a brain aneurysm. We had so
many hopes for his show career - he was a lovely boy with strong bone,
cream coat color and beautiful angles. Rest in peace our dear boy - we
really miss you.

Happy Retirement Old Friend!
Zoe is now enjoying the retired, pampered life with her new owners in
Georgia. Zoe has given us wonderful litters over the years, and precious
memories. She's truly a great gal and though she will be missed around
here, we are thrilled that she will be living the life of luxury in her new home!

Bria left us too soon. Always the lady in charge, she was great with pups of
all ages, especially loved children and even tolerated our cats. At Christmas
07 we noticed her limping, then a few days later she had huge lumps all
along her right mammary glands. Unfortunately she had a very aggressive
form of breast cancer. We let her go peacefully on January 3, 08. We are
thankful we have her daughter from her last litter with us. Rest in peace my
dear lovely Bria.

Jackie is deeply missed... Our lovely Jackie retired after her last litter on
March 30, 2009, and was soon diagnosed with lymphoma. We fought a hard
battle against it, and made wonderful memories with her in the time we were
given...but sadly lost her in November. She was the constant shadow and
dearest friend of her co-owner and trainer, Tomi Kaiser. We miss you dear
one.

Therapy Girl...
Eva has been a delight to own. She is one of the kindest, kissiest
girls we have and adores people old and young. She has
produced excellent litters for us and is now retired from our
breeding program. She will enjoy living with her loving family and
will continue being a super therapy dog.

Willow has been a most loving and loyal addition to our Tanglewood
family. Now that she has given us one last litter of amazingly biddable
and sweet tempered pups, she will continuing doing what she does
best: Loving people and making them feel happy. Willow's "retirement"
includes therapy work with her new owner. We will miss you Willow, and
are so happy that many more will benefit from your kind and loving
nature now!
